Vennebu Hill is a scenic wedding and event venue located just minutes from Wisconsin Dells and Lake Delton in Baraboo, Wisconsin. Surrounded by the rolling Baraboo Bluffs, the Norwegian-inspired venue offers a beautiful hilltop setting for weddings, celebrations, meetings, and retreats.

The beautifully restored Gothic barn blends rustic charm with modern amenities, creating a welcoming space for both indoor and outdoor events. Couples and guests enjoy breathtaking countryside views, spacious gathering areas, and a peaceful setting that feels private while still being close to the Wisconsin Dells area.

The name Vennebu comes from a Norwegian phrase meaning “a gathering place for friends and family,” a spirit that continues today as people come together here to celebrate life's meaningful moments.

Vennebu Hill is part of the Myklebust family farm, where three generations have cared for the land and its history. What was once a working cattle barn has been thoughtfully restored into a wedding and event venue designed to bring people together in a truly memorable setting.

Vennebu Hill offers a number of amenities with your rental

Year-round facility with air conditioning and heat. Have your wedding with us at any time of the year.
Paved and lighted parking lot, providing safety and security for you and your guests.
Preparation suites for bride and groom.
Lounge with seating for family and friends getting ready for the wedding.
Coat closet for essentials that require not being out in the open.
Bathroom facilities: 10 total stalls with handicap accessibility on both upper and lower levels.
Elevator access for guests needing additional assistance.
Audio-visual capabilities. In-house speakers in the barn and outside on the patio with use of wireless microphones.
Video screens with multiple source locations; HDMI, XLR or 1/8th inch jack ports for laptops or mixers
Place settings - flatware, single dinner plate or salad/appetizer plate for stations, glassware , wine and/or champagne glasses**,
Fully staffed main bar lower level and (2) mobile bars for use in the barn.
(250-300) gold resin folding 'ceremony' chairs for outside and inside ceremony available for an additional $350 fee.

Convenient, Yet Secluded Location

The beautifully rustic and elegant venue resides on a sprawling 60 acre farm with views of over 170 acres. Set high upon a hill with a view far beyond that, the venue overlooks the Baraboo Bluffs and Wisconsin River. The facility has a Baraboo address, but is located closer to Lake Delton and Wisconsin Dells.

Vennebu Hill is an excellent option for couples, families, groups, and/or organizations from the Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison markets (to name a few) looking for a destination wedding option or an alternative meeting and retreat facility that inspires creativity!
